Last week I got the chance to climb the tower of the Cathedral of Our Lady in my hometown Antwerp. The cathedral tower is 123 meters high. But the viewing terrace is ‘only’ at 90 meters.

As I pointed out earlier not everything is in Australia as gay as in Dorothy’s Oz. On my tour, I found Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney to be gay friendly. Maybe Brisbane too. Outside these ‘gay islands’, it’s a different story.

If you feel I’m a slave to my iPhone, think again. Australians are attached to their smartphone and the iPhone is very popular. Of course the Aussies don’t have to buy the iPhone straight out as we Belgians do. They get a contract and they pay it off every month, together with the telephone and internet service.

Kylie’s Aphrodite: Les Folies Tour concert was a fabulous encore of my Aussie trip. The concert was amazing. Kylie cán sing live, the spectacle was awesome. The big surprise of the night was the cabaret version of Slow, followed by electro-Slow.
