Why Belgian Syryp? My Tumblr is called The Belgian Waffle and Lacquemant (another kind of waffle) is my Dutch language blog. As (The) Belgian Waffle was taken on WordPress.com, I settled for Syrup Waffle. It basicly is an English translation / description of what a lacquemant is.
